Bayern want trophies - Heynckes

Bayern Munich coach Jupp Heynckes has warned that his side have not yet achieved anything, despite breezing into the Champions League semi-finals with a 4-0 aggregate victory over Marseille.

A 2-0 win at the Allianz Arena kept the Bavarians on course for the final in their own stadium, but Heynckes says all of his side's good work could still easily go to waste.

"I told my team that the (German) Cup final, the chance to win the Bundesliga and reaching the semi-finals of the Champions League are all great successes, but we want to have trophies in our hands at the end of the season," he said.

Bayern have already reached the final of the DFB-Pokal, where they will meet Borussia Dortmund next month, while they trail the Westphalians by three points in the league.

The two teams meet in what could be a title decider next week while Bayern look set to face Real Madrid in the last four of the Champions League - if the Spanish club get past APOEL Nicosia.

And Heynckes, who won the European Cup with Madrid in 1998, knows that the real challenges are yet to come, with Barcelona potential opponents in the final.

"The two Spanish clubs are a bit ahead of us," he said on Sky television. "Nevertheless, we can beat Real over two legs."

Bayern's chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge is confident his club can come away with a treble this season.

They have games every three days almost until the end of the campaign now, but he does not see any signs of the strain on his club's players.

"I think the team is in a good condition and is well prepared for the hectic weeks," he said. "We have a game every three or four days and you have got to have good nerves for that, and we have those, I think. We are ready for everything."
