Bayern Munich Already Planning Champions League Victory Celebrations

The Grosvenor House Hotel’s 'Great Room' will host the Bundesliga Champions and perhaps this year’s Champions League winners.

Their party planning at one of London’s swankiest hotels suggests they don’t see themselves being beaten by rivals Borussia Dortmund in this year’s final at Wembley Stadium.

They would do well to remember that they’ve lost three of their last four finals, including last year’s ‘meant to be’ showpiece in their own city and stadium against Chelsea.

There’s a sense of over confidence coming from the German Champions. After last year’s defeat to Chelsea, you’d think they’d take more care with planning how they’re going to celebrate.

Their unexpected loss saw their party-parade around the streets of Munich postponed, and instead they wallowed in silence with the centre of the city almost deserted to make way for the jubilant traveling English fans. How that must have hurt.

A Dortmund win is sure to be in everybody’s prayers now.
