Bayern Munich crushed FC Basel 7-0 at Allianz Arena on Tuesday to sweep into the Champions League quarter-finals.
Bayern had trailed 1-0 following a shock first-leg defeat in Switzerland but a barrage of goals -- including four for Germany striker Mario Gomez -- took them into the last eight with a 7-1 aggregate victory.
