One of Barrow AFCs longest serving directors, Dave Ayres, has stood down from the Holker Street board for personal reasons.
Dave joined the board in early 1999 shortly after its inception and leaves just Brian Keen, Russell Dodd & Neil McDonald as "ever-presents".
Barrow stated that they understood the reasons for Daves decision and thank him for all his hard work over the last 6 and a half years. They are glad he will still be present on match days and at fundraising functions.
