Oldham Athletic teenager Paul Black has inked his first professional contract with the club.
The 18-year-old left-back has signed a two-and-a-half year contract with the League One side after coming through the Latics' centre of excellence.
Chief executive Alan Hardy told the club's official website: "I know the manager (John Sheridan) and the coaching staff think very highly of Paul - so much so he's already been included in a number of first-team squads.
"I'm sure Paul has a bright future ahead of him and I wish him well in his professional career."
Black has been an unused substitute on four occasions so far this term and was on the bench for the FA Cup third round win at Everton.
