Wood You Believe It!

Reds sign up Kiwi Mark Robins has again dipped into the loan market to sign West Brom and New Zealand striker Chris Wood on a 93-day emergency loan deal. He was born in Auckland and moved to West Brom's Academy in 2008 and has gone on to make 27 appearances for the Baggies, netting just once but earning rave reviews. At just 17, he made his New Zealand international debut in a 2-1 defeat to Tanzania and has won another 10 caps since, including three games in the FIFA World Cup in South Africa in the All Whites games with Italy, Paraguay and Slovakia. He joins a band of Kiwis who have all at one time or another plied their trades at Oakwell after Rory Fallon, David Mulligan, Leo Bertos, Jeremy Christie, Allan Pearce and Colin Walker.
