Barnsley manager Simon Davey has continued to revamp his multi-national squad by snapping up West Brom left-back Miguel Tininho on loan.
The Mozambique-born 27-year-old joined the Baggies in July 2007 from Portuguese side Beira Mar but has struggled to become a regular in Tony Mowbray's first-team plans this season.
He has started only two appearances for Albion, the last being the Carling Cup win defeat to Cardiff City in September.
Tininho will spend a month on loan with the Tykes, who slipped to 15th in the Championship table after losing 3-1 at home to Norwich City on Saturday.
