Tykes star eager for Foxes reunion
The Canadian international, who had been on the sidelines for nine months following a life-threatening skull injury, played 69 minutes in the Tykes crushing midweek home defeat to Preston. Now Hume, 25, is hoping to retain his place in the side as Simon Davey's squad travel to face the Foxes. Hume, who spent three seasons at the Walkers Stadium, told the club's official website: "It was unexpected but brilliant (to start against Preston). "I never thought I would start the game and was only hoping for another 10 to 15 minutes. "Hopefully I will be in the side again on Saturday because the game at Leicester is one I have really, really been looking forward to since the fixtures came out."
