Barnsley have completed the loan signing of
Manchester United striker Daniel Nardiello.
The 21-year-old will spend one month at Oakwell and Tykes boss Gudjon Thordarson is delighted with the deal.
"I would like to thank Sir Alex Ferguson for his help in allowing us to take Daniel on loan," the Icelander told the club's official website.
"We have discussed potential signings for several weeks and Sir Alex has kept us fully informed of the players he could allow out and who he would be happy to let come to Oakwell.
"He called us earlier this week and this signing is the outcome of that."
The 21-year-old has played four games for United and spent a month on loan with Swansea City earlier this season.
