Tykes sign Reggae Boyz star

Tykes manager Simon Davey has been talking to Notodden throughout the summer with a view to signing the 25-year-old midfielder. An agreement has now been reached and O'Neill, who has taken part in Barnsley's pre-season campaign, has agreed a two-year deal with the club, subject to the granting of a work permit. "We are delighted to have brought O'Neil into the squad and he will be a great addition to what we are trying to build," Davey told his club's official website. "He has impressed everybody during his time at Oakwell and he is a player with great stature, composure and presence."
