Tykes rule out Nardiello exit

Barnsley boss Andy Ritchie has ruled out the possibility of former Manchester United striker Daniel Nardiello joining Yeovil Town.

The Glovers had been keen to sign the 23-year-old who has been a regular on Barnsley's substitute's bench this term.

"I had a phone call from Yeovil about Daniel and whether we'd be willing to let him out but he's not going anywhere," Ritchie told the club's official website.

"We need him here for the run-in.

"To be honest Gudjon (Thordarson) has been trying to get him to Notts County for the last three weeks and the answer was the same."
