Tykes reject Hayes offer

Barnsley have rejected an improved offer from fellow Championship strugglers Southend United for striker Paul Hayes.
Hayes moved to Oakwell in the summer of 2005 for £150,000 from Scunthorpe United and the Shrimpers' latest bid is reported to be below that figure.
Tykes boss Simon Davey confirmed: "The last thing I'd heard was that Southend had increased their offer for Paul, but it's still nowhere near our valuation.
"Paul is one whose contract we wanted to extend here. He agreed to extend his contract, but he's a Southend boy and they've put in a bid for him."
Hayes, 23, has netted 18 goals in 87 appearances for Barnsley to date.
