Davey is currently assessing former Luton midfielder Dean Morgan, ex-Darlington goalkeeper David Preece and youngster Chris Ramsey following his release from Manchester City. Davey is set to hand all three men an opportunity to impress in this week's pre-season clashes with Buxton and Ferencvaros.
