Tykes sweating over O'Connor

Jay McEveley is definitely out of Barnsley's trip to Scunthorpe and Garry O'Connor faces a late fitness test, but Kieran Trippier is back in contention. The former Blackburn defender was forced out of Saturday's defeat at Reading due to a bruised foot and striker O'Connor, on loan from Birmingham, has had an injection in a bid to shake off a groin strain. Andy Gray is likely to return to the starting line-up alongside new loan signing Chris Wood if O'Connor fails to make it and Luke Potter is the logical replacement for McEveley. Trippier is fit again following a foot injury. Manager Mark Robins must decide whether to retain Hugo Colace in midfield or recall Goran Lovre, while Nathan Doyle is hoping for a bigger role after stepping off the bench on Saturday. Barnsley, looking to bounce back from a 3-0 defeat at 10-man Reading, have won only one of their last four matches.
