Noble-Lazarus became the Football League's youngest-ever player when he stepped off the substitutes' bench for his Barnsley debut against Ipswich in October aged 15 years and 45 days. Tykes manager Simon Davey told the club's official website: "Reuben is an extremely talented young player and one we have very high hopes for. "We are absolutely delighted that he has committed his future to Barnsley football club and look forward to working with him." Noble-Lazarus has recently returned to Oakwell following a trial spell with Manchester United.
