Tykes skipper Foster aiming high

Mark Robins' side are unbeaten in their last eight league matches and although they are seven points adrift of sixth-placed Swansea, Barnsley have two games in hand.

Foster said: "We should be setting our standards high and looking towards the top-of-the-table and towards the play-offs, because when you look around the squad there is a lot of ability and a lot of good players.

"The Christmas period is always difficult time, especially with the number of games, but you're always aware that if you can produce some good results over the period you can find yourselves in a great position come the new year."

Barnsley have lost only four of their 17 league matches under manager Robins, who replaced Simon Davey as manager at Oakwell in September.
