Tykes duo banned

Barnsley's central defenders Stephen Foster and Jason Shackell are both suspended for the home clash with Swansea. Foster was shown a straight red card for a professional foul in last week's defeat at Hull and starts a three-game ban, while Shackell received two yellow cards and sits out one match. Tykes manager Mark Robins will have to shuffle his resources to fill the big gap at the back with fellow defenders Jay McEveley and Luke Potter both currently sidelined due to knee injuries. Barnsley will be without winger Adam Hammill, who has signed a three-and-a-half year deal with Wolves after both clubs agreed an undisclosed fee this week, so Jim O'Brien is expected to return to the starting line-up. The Tykes have lost three of their last five league games and have slipped to 16th place in the table.
