Barnsley skipper Stephen Foster and fellow defender Paul McShane could return to the squad for the clash at Crystal Palace. Centre-back Foster, sidelined for the last seven matches due to a torn thigh muscle, returned to full training this week and hopes to be included. McShane, on loan from Hull, was expected to be ruled out for at least four weeks due to a hamstring tear, but has made a rapid recovery and could even start. Striker Danny Haynes is set to be involved after recovering from a leg injury. But midfielder Jacob Mellis, on loan from Chelsea, and defender Lee Peltier are struggling with respective hamstring and groin problems and could miss out, while midfielder Diego Arismendi is battling to shake off a knock. Barnsley have won only one of their last nine league matches.
