Both players, who came through the ranks at Stoke, are scheduled to spend the next three months at Oakwell and become the fourth and fifth new arrivals since Robins took charge earlier on September 9. Right-back Shotton, 20, spent the last campaign on loan at Tranmere and was at Altrincham the season before that. Left-back Dickinson, 22, spent a month on loan at Leeds last season. Robins drafted in former Crystal Palace and Birmingham winger Julian Gray and right-back Nathan Doyle from Hull in time for them to make their first appearances in last Saturday's goalless draw with Swansea. Slovenia international defender Suad Filekovic, 31, signed a short-term deal until January earlier this week and will join Shotton and Dickinson in Robins' squad for Saturday's clash at QPR.
