Tykes boss bemoans Hume absence
Hume, a £1.2million summer signing from Leicester, fractured his skull in the South Yorkshire derby against Sheffield United in November and has not played since.[LNB]Davey, whose side must win their last two matches to be sure of escaping the drop, said "Staying up will be an achievement, even though I've been backed financially in the transfer market this season.[LNB]"A lot of that money has been sitting in a hospital bed for most of the season and unable to play. (Club owner) Patrick Cryne has always supported me financially and personally and it will be an achievement to stay up when you look at the situation we are in.[LNB]"Iain Hume has had another scan and has been advised to continue his training programme, but not play. He will re-assess things in pre-season and hopefully we will have a £1.2million striker back with us for the start of the new campaign.[LNB]"We have to show that we want the points more than Wolves.
