Barnsley have begun their preparations for the 2013-2014 campaign by announcing two pre-season friendlies this summer.
David Flitcroft’s Reds will host Wolverhampton Wanderers- newly relegated to League One- on Saturday 20th July, before making the short trip to another new League One addition- Rotherham United on Saturday 27th July.
Barnsley were the first side to visit the Millers brand new stadium- The New York Stadium- last summer and were defeated 2-1. Rotherham won promotion from League Two this season, finishing second in the table.
