Teale seals Tykes switch

Barnsley have landed Scotland winger Gary Teale on loan from Championship rivals Derby County.

Teale, 30, has joined the Tykes on a initial one-month loan basis and could make his debut in Saturday's clash with Coventry City.

The 11-times capped international finished the last campaign on loan at Plymouth Argyle.

"We're delighted to have brought Gary into the squad," manager Simon Davey told the club's official website.

"He is a player with experience of winning promotions from this division and played in the Premier League last season."
