Slovenia defender leaves Barnsley

Barnsley have cancelled the contract of Slovenia international defender Suad Filekovic by mutual consent.The 31-year-old only joined the Tykes last month on a contract until January but leaves without making a single first-team appearance. Manager Mark Robins told the club website: "He came in at a difficult time when we had a lot of injuries.
