Slovenia defender claims Tykes deal
The 31-year-old defender, a free agent following his release from Maribor last season, started a seven-day trial at Oakwell earlier in the week.
Filekovic, who has been capped 11 times by his country, told Sportal: "I'm still speechless, as everything went so quickly and smoothly.
"I'm more than satisfied with the contract. Because of the new coach we made a decision that I will for now stay until January and then we will see.
"I have a very good feeling and on Saturday I will play my first game against Swansea. It is just unbelievable. Days ago I was just training and waiting for a new club and now I will play in England every Saturday and Tuesday."
