Shotton sets his sights high

Barnsley defender Ryan Shotton believes his side can challenge for Play-Off honours after their crucial midweek win against Nottingham Forest.

The Tykes cashed in at Oakwell by claiming a 2-1 win and the Stoke City loanee now hopes it will act as the catalyst that will push them into the end of season shake-up.

He said: "The play-offs have been mentioned and we know there are a lot of good teams up there.

"But we'll just take keep creeping up there in the last few games of the season - and maybe steal a place. We've made massive steps from last year.

"I wasn't here last season, but I kept an eye on all leagues and saw we were down there and survived."
