Shotton ruled out of Preston clash
Shotton will return early to the Britannia Stadium after receiving his fifth yellow card of the season in last weekend's draw at Crystal Palace.[LNB]Dickinson, who has also spent the last three months on loan at Oakwell, will play his last match for the Tykes at Deepdale as his loan spell also ends after the Boxing Day match.[LNB]Stephen Foster, an unused substitute at Palace after recently recovering from a gashed eye, is expected to return to the starting line-up.[LNB]Striker Daniel Bogdanovic is also in contention. The Malta international limped out of the action last Saturday with a hamstring strain, but returned to full training this week.[LNB]Barnsley, unbeaten in their last seven matches, hope to climb into the top half of the table with victory over Preston.[LNB][LNB]
