Shackell back for Tykes

Barnsley club skipper Jason Shackell is expected to go straight back into the starting line-up against QPR following illness. Shackell missed Saturday's home win over Bristol City and manager Mark Robins must decide whether to recall him or retain Kieran Trippier in his back four. Another defender, Bobby Hassell, remains sidelined with a calf strain and midfielder Hugo Colace is expected to miss out after being forced off at the weekend with a knee injury. Jacob Mellis, on loan from Chelsea, replaced Colace against the Robins and is expected to keep his place alongside Jacob Butterfield. Defender Jay McEveley and midfielder Diego Arismendi are among those pushing for recalls to the starting line-up as the Tykes bid to maintain their push for a top-half finish.
