Robins hails Reds` response

Barnsley boss Mark Robins was pleased with how his side responded to their 3-0 thrashing at Reading on Saturday to secure a goalless draw at Scunthorpe. The Iron edged a tempestuous encounter and were unfortunate not to secure the elusive goal, having been denied by the goal frame, Tykes goalkeeper Luke Steele and wayward shooting.Robins said: "It's a good point, it's a clean sheet and it's a step forward."We didn't get anything here last year in the league, so it's a point more than we got then. "We're still a bit naive with the two young ones in the centre of midfield, with Diego (Arismendi) and Butts (Jacob Butterfield). Sometimes they can just go and leave their responsibilities."But we know they are a good side here. We know it is a difficult place to come and play and, like I say, for us it was a step forward - both a step forward on Saturday and our performance here last year."
