Robins: We must excite fans

Barnsley manager Mark Robins has urged his players to make more of an effort to excite the fans at Oakwell.

The Tykes fought back for a 1-1 home draw with Ipswich on Saturday, but Robins claimed it had been a lacklustre display from his side. Robins said: "We stood off them too much and looked like we hadn't played with each other for a while.

"The positive is we came back from a goal down and ground out a result.

"We have to give the fans something to sing about and for too long we didn't and for that we will try harder."

The point gained by Barnsley was enough to keep them in 13th place in the table, 11 points clear of the relegation zone.
