Robins targets improved points tally

Barnsley manager Mark Robins has thrown down the gauntlet to his side and urged them to beat last season's npower Championship points haul. The Tykes secured 54 points in 2009/10 and need just eight more to surpass that target this term. With nine games remaining, Robins is calling on his men to make it a sprint finish. "We are on 47 points now with nine games left, so we've got plenty to do and there's still plenty of football to be played. We want to drive on until the end of this campaign," he told The Sheffield Star. "At this stage of the season you've got teams that are battling to avoid relegation or battling to go up, but there's very little in between."
