Manager Mark Robins saluted Barnsley's players and fans following his side's last-day win at Oakwell. Tykes teenager Reuben Noble-Lazarus scored the only goal of the game against Millwall to lift Robins' side up to 17th spot on 56 points, two beyond last season's tally and two places better off. Robins said: "The players have done fantastically well. We all want more from them, in terms of league position and points. "We have to go and take stock now, but we want to enjoy this day. The supporters have been fantastic and I'm sure they've enjoyed this win. "This is now about the players and supporters and thanking them for the season." Barnsley had an average home gate of 11,856 at Oakwell this season, placing them 21st, above Preston, Doncaster and Scunthorpe, in the attendance rankings.
