Robins boss dismisses Tykes link
Wilson remains a fans' favourite at the South Yorkshire club having guided the club into the Premier League in 1997.
But he told the Swindon Advertiser: "That old story has reared its head again has it?
"It's hypothetical and there's no reason to talk about it. As far as I'm concerned we've sat down and we want to go places with Swindon and that's the only thing to talk about.
"If Manchester United came in I would be talking exactly the same because it's not for me to be making any judgments or statements about other clubs.
"We are very determined here to go forward and that's why we are putting things in place to hopefully get a good season under our belts."
