Winger joins League One Scunthorpe.

The Football League’s Youngest Ever Player has joined League Two outfit Scunthorpe United on loan until New Year’s Day.

The now 20 year old was just 15 years and 45 days old when he came on for Barnsley against Ipswich in September 2008 but has struggled to force his way into the first team reckoning, making just 39 more appearances since his historic debut five years ago.

Last season was by far the Huddersfield’s born winger/wing back’s best at Oakwell as he made 15 appearances, helping the club retain their Championship status, but he has appeared just five times in 2013-2014, the last of which was in the 2-1 defeat at Leicester on the 28th September when he struggled in a full-back role.

Scunthorpe currently sit eighth in the fourth tier after relegation last season.
