As transfer targets sign new deals with their clubs

Barnsley Football Club have organised two home friendlies with two continental European clubs.

First up on Friday 12th July is 13-time Belgian champions Club Brugge. They finished third in the Belgian Pro League last term. The match will be a 7pm kick off.

The Reds will then welcome French giants Bordeaux to Oakwell on Thursday 25th July, this time with a 7.30pm kick off. Bordeaux competed in last season's Europa League and have been crowned French champions on six occasions, most recently in 2009.

Meanwhile, two of Barnsley's defensive transfer targets have signed new deals with their respective clubs. Adam El-Abd has agreed a two-year deal with Brighton and Kirk Broadfoot has signed a new one year contract with Blackpool.
