Barnsley boss Simon Davey continues to make full use of the loan market after agreeing a deal to bring Derby County teenager Lewin Nyatanga to Oakwell.
The highly-rated 18-year-old central defender has already made 33 first-team appearances for the Rams and played in an additional 11 games for Sunderland during a loan spell at the Stadium of Light earlier this season.
In March 2006 he made his international debut when he started for Wales in their friendly with Paraguay and has gone on to win eight more caps for his country.
The relegation-threatened Tykes have already signed Manchester United duo Ritchie Jones and Adam Eckersley on loan.
