Match Preview Team News:   There could be up to four players making their Oakwell debuts with new loan signings Marcus Tudgay, Emile Sinclair, Jonathan Greening and Akos Buzsaky all set to feature against high flying Cardiff City. Tudgay, Greening and Buzsaky are all set to start with Sinclair likely to be used from the bench.   David Perkins remains out with a hamstring injury, but he is the only absentee.   Last time out - Barnsley Team:   Luke Steele    Scott Golbourne Scott Wiseman Jim McNulty Martin Cranie Stephen Dawson Jim O’Brien Matty Done Jacob Mellis Craig Davies Marcus Tudgay   Head To Head   Last Six Barnsley v Cardiff Results:   14/4/12 Barnsley 0-1 Cardiff (Championship) 22/10/11 Cardiff 5-3 Barnsley (Championship) 13/3/11 Cardiff 2-2 Barnsley (Championship) 2/10/10 Barnsley 1-2 Cardiff (Championship) 20/2/10 Cardiff 0-2 Barnsley (Championship) 21/11/09 Barnsley 1-0 Cardiff (Championship)   Overall Record: Barnsley Wins: 13 Cardiff Wins: 22 Draws: 10 Barnsley Goals: 51 Cardiff Goals: 69   At Oakwell: Barnsley Wins: 8 Cardiff Wins: 8 Draws: 6 Barnsley Goals: 30 Cardiff Goals: 26   This Season   Last six 2012-2013 results:   Barnsley: 17/11/12 Bolton 1-1 Barnsley (Championship) 10/11/12 Barnsley 0-1 Huddersfield (Championship) 6/11/12 Derby 2-0 Barnsley (Championship) 3/11/12 Hull 1-0 Barnsley (Championship) 27/10/12 Barnsley 1-4 Nottingham Forest (Championship) 23/10/12 Barnsley 1-1 Crystal Palace (Championship) W: 0 D: 2 L: 4 F: 3 A: 10 GD: -7 Points: 2   Cardiff: 17/11/12 Cardiff 1-0 Middlesbrough (Championship) 10/11/12 Cardiff 2-1 Hull (Championship) 6/11/12 Charlton 5-4 Cardiff (Championship) 3/11/12 Bolton 2-1 Cardiff (Championship) 27/10/12 Cardiff 4-0 Burnley (Championship) 23/10/12 Cardiff 2-1 Watford (Championship) W: 4 D: 0 L: 2 F: 14 A: 9 GD: 5 Points: 12   Interesting Stats:   Cardiff have won almost half of the meetings between the two sides and both have won eight at Oakwell.   The Bluebirds have lost just two of their last 14 meetings with The Reds, and they were both in the same season when Mark Robins men did the double over the Welsh outfit in 2009-2010.   Cardiff have also won three of their last four trips to Oakwell and have triumphed here four times since Barnsley returned to the Championship in 2006.   Cardiff maybe second in the Championship and could go top with victory in South Yorkshire, but they have lost their last two matches on the road, including a 5-4 reverse in their last outing. They have won just twice away from the Cardiff City Stadium, and have lost five matches on the road, the most in the top half. Only Barnsley, Wolves, Burnley, Sheffield Wednesday, Bristol City and Ipswich who have all only lost six, have lost more.   They are though imperious at home, having won all nine matches in front of their own supporters. Only they and Coalville Town in the Evo-Stick Premier League South have a 100% home record in the top 10 levels of English football.   Barnsley are suffering their worst run at home in eight years and have failed to win any of their last five matches at Oakwell. A sixth winless game in front of their own supporters would be their worst run in 16 years, since they ended the 1995-1996 season by failing to win any of their final six home matches.   The Reds have managed a paltry six goals at home this season, the lowest in the Championship. The 10 they have conceded is the second lowest in the bottom half however.   Indeed the 16 goals, The Reds have scored home and away this season is the second lowest in the division, only Bristol City (11) have scored less and the 5-0 hammering of Birmingham in September remains the only league game in 2012-13 that The Reds have scored more than once.   Barnsley have 16 points from their 17 Championship games, their lowest points tally at this stage of a season since their first year back in the division (2006-2007) when they had 15.   If Cardiff score today it will be the 100th goal the club have conceded under Keith Hill's management. Today is Hill's 64th league match in charge, it took his predecessor Mark Robins until his 72nd match to hit that number. Simon Davey also hit the 100 goal conceded mark in his 64th game in charge.   Goalkeeper Luke Steele is set to make his 150th league appearance for the club today. Since signing in 2008, and making his debut in the historic FA Cup victory at Liverpool, the 28 year old has conceded 209 goals in his 149 games.   On This Day:   Barnsley: Played: 17, Won 6, Drawn 6, Lost 5, Scored 29, Conceded 25. Last match on the 24th November: 2008. Barnsley 3-2 Burnley (Macken Whaley, Leon). ATT: 10,678. Last win: 2008 Last draw: 1990 Last defeat: 2001 STAT! – Barnsley have won their last two matches on this date by a 3-2 score-line.   Cardiff: Played: 15, Won: 3, Drawn 5, Lost 7, Scored 11, Conceded 24.
