Reds boss Keith Hill could make changes as his side look to bounce back from a 5-3 defeat at Cardiff last weekend by securing a third successive home win but he has insisted he will not rush injured players back. Both Matty Done and Bobby Hassell are back in training after hamstring injuries as is former Bristol City marksman Danny Haynes who has made just one substitute appearance since August.
Goran Lovre and Reuben Noble-Lazarus remain long-term absentees.
Ricardo Vaz Te is pushing for a start after scoring two in two games as a substitute and could get the nod over either David Perkins or Jim O’Brien who were both subbed at half time in Wales.

One thing this fixture should guarantee is goals. There has been a remarkable 25 in the last 5 meetings- an average of FIVE a game- the last three have had at least six in each.
Barnsley go into this match on the back of a 5-3 defeat. The last time they were on the wrong end of this score-line was at Bristol City back in March 2010.
They were also on the right end of it in the 2005-2006 season when they won 5-3 at Bradford in the FA Cup.
Jim McNulty made history last weekend by hitting Barnsley’s 4000th goal in the second tier of English football. The Reds are the first ever team to hit this mark in this division.
Bristol City are currently propping up the division and have not won any of their last 11 matches. They are the only club in the division with just one win- a 2-1 success at Leicester back in August.
The Robins have also lost each of their last five matches, their longest losing run since 2005. This season is their worst start to a campaign since the 1933-34 Division Three North campaign when it took them 14 matches to register their first victory.
New manager Derek McInnes takes charge of his first away match in English football tomorrow. The former Rangers midfielder took over the reigns at Ashton Gate on the 15th October from the sacked Keith Millen, and lost his first game in charge last Sunday, 2-0 at home to Birmingham. This is not his first trip to Oakwell however as he appeared as a player here twice for West Brom in 2000 and 2001- both ending up Barnsley wins.
The Reds have won their last two home matches- a third successive Oakwell victory tomorrow would be the first time they have achieved three home wins on the trot since the beginning of last season when they won their first three home matches.
But they have not enjoyed the best record against City in recent seasons. Last year’s 4-2 home victory was their first win in seven meetings.
Barnsley are set to come up against a very familiar face in the Robins ranks tomorrow. Winger Jamal Campbell-Ryce scored 12 times in 90 appearances for The Reds between 2007 and 2010.
