There has been 30 in the last six clashes- an average of five a game!

Bristol City did the double over Barnsley last season, for the second time in three years and have won five of the last seven meetings.

Indeed, The Reds only victory in nine clashes was a 4-2 home success in April 2011.

Barnsley need four more goals to reach 100 at home v Bristol City. Bristol City have suffered just one defeat in their last 11 league games, and that was the opening game of this season. The Robins ended 2011-2012 unbeaten in their final eight matches, which included a 2-0 home success over the Reds that ensured their Championship survival.

Aside from an opening day 1-0 reversal at Nottingham Forest, Derek McInnes side look in ominous form, beating Crystal Palace 4-1 and Cardiff City 4-2 in their last two matches.

In contrast, Barnsley, after a 1-0 success against Middlesbrough on the opening day, have lost their last two games, conceding eight goals in the process. Only Crystal Palace (9) have conceded more than The Reds so far in the Championship this season.

Bristol City, however have not kept a clean sheet since April…… against Barnsley.

Victory for them tomorrow would make it their best start to a league season in 11 years.

If they net three at Oakwell tomorrow it will give them 1,000 away goals in the second tier of English football.

But City have won only one of their last six matches on the road.
