Striker Nile Ranger could be in line for his debut in this Yorkshire derby at Elland Road. The 20 year old signed on loan from Newcastle last Friday but arrived too late to be registered for last weekend’s games. If Reds boss Keith Hill opts for a 4-4-2 formation Ranger is likely to partner in form Craig Davies who has hit four goals in his last five matches.
Danny Haynes made his first appearance since September from the bench last Saturday after his hamstring injury and is likely to be a substitute again. Hill also welcomes back Danny Drinkwater and Andy Gray from suspension but both are unlikely to make the starting 11 with Hill opting for an unchanged line up after a 2-0 win against Doncaster last time out.

Barnsley are unbeaten in their last four meetings with Leeds but have not won at Elland Road since April 1990.
Overall The Reds have won just five of their 26 trips to this part of West Yorkshire.
Both sides have been evenly matched in the past. Tomorrow will be the 49th league meeting with Leeds just shading it 17 wins to 16, with 15 stalemates.
The Reds are though unbeaten in league meetings with the Whites since both sides were in the Premier League. Back then Leeds did the double over Danny Wilson’s top flight new boys but since then a 1-0 FA Cup success in 2001 is Leeds only success. Barnsley have won the last two Oakwell meetings- 3-2 and an incredible 5-2 success last season, whilst earning a point from each of their last two trips to Elland Road- 2-2 in 2007 and 3-3 last season.
Barnsley were undefeated in their opening five away games but have lost all three since. In contrast, The Reds failed to win any of their first five home matches in league and cup but have won four of the five they have played since.
The Reds have only one away win to their name this campaign – at Reading in August.
Leeds are looking for a third successive league victory- something they last achieved in December last year. But are searching for their first home win in four attempts. The last time they were in front of their own supporters they were hammered 5-0 by Blackpool.
Two of the Whites last three victories have been achieved with winners coming in the dying moments- 89th minute at Burnley and 95th minute against Peterborough.
