The Bluebirds have lost just two of their last 14 meetings with The Reds, and they were both in the same season when Mark Robins men did the double over the Welsh outfit in 2009-2010. Cardiff have also won three of their last four trips to Oakwell and have triumphed here four times since Barnsley returned to the Championship in 2006. Cardiff maybe second in the Championship and could go top with victory in South Yorkshire, but they have lost their last two matches on the road, including a 5-4 reverse in their last outing. They have won just twice away from the Cardiff City Stadium, and have lost five matches on the road, the most in the top half.
