Not Ready To Return Sean Winds Up At Bristol

Former Reds target new manager at the bottom of the Championship.
Sean O’Driscoll, who claimed he was not ready to return to management when Barnsley came calling a little over a week ago, has today been installed as manager at rock bottom Bristol City.
In O’Driscoll’s statement that he released when explaining his reasons for turning down the Oakwell job he said, “at this moment, and given the extremely disappointing and sudden nature of my departure from Nottingham Forest, I've respectfully declined the opportunity to become Barnsley's next manager."
This seemed to indicate he was not ready to return to the dugout after his shock exit from Forest who he had led to within a point of the play-offs.
But today he has been installed at Bristol City, who sacked Derek McInnes on Saturday after a 4-0 hammering at home to Leicester dropped them to the foot of the Championship. It was that result coupled with Barnsley’s excellent 2-0 win over Leeds that saw the Robins plummet to the bottom.
Ironically O’Driscoll turned down the position at Oakwell when The Reds were also bottom of the league.
