Noble-Lazarus continues rise

Steven Bennett gave Barnsley the lead when he bundled home from close range at the Cardiff Arena before Noble-Lazarus drove home a rising shot from 25 yards just before half-time.

Ibrahim Farah pulled a goal back for Cardiff with 17 minutes remaining, but Barnsley held on to go through to the fourth round.

Noble-Lazarus became the youngest player ever to feature in a Football League match when he came on as a substitute during Barnsley's 3-0 Championship defeat to Ipswich in September 2008 at the age of 15 years and 45 days.
