Reds Set To Sign "Experienced Championship Striker"

BBC Radio Sheffield are reporting that Barnsley are to sign an “experienced Championship striker” on loan tomorrow to try and boost the Reds ailing attack.

Keith Hill’s side have lost their last four matches, failing to score in three of them and the Reds boss has seen attempts to land a striker thwarted in recent weeks with deals for both Simon Church and Alex Nimely falling through.

That pursuit looks set to end within the next 24 hours, with somebody finally arriving in time for Saturday’s trip to Bolton Wanderers.
