Nardiello makes Tykes switch

Manchester United youngster Daniel Nardiello has agreed to rejoin Barnsley on a season-long loan.

The 21-year-old spent three months on loan at Oakwell last season, scoring seven times in 16 matches and, with little sign of first-team action at Old trafford, has agreed to return.

The striker has played just four times for United's first team, with all of those appearances coming in cup games which Sir Alex Ferguson chose to field weakened teams in.

Nardiello also had a one-month loan spell at Swansea City last season, scoring once in five matches.
