Moore: Players have set the standard

Published: 09 Feb 2010 - 15:19:25

Barnsley defender Darren Moore has put the club's recent success down to individuals taking responsibility for their own performances. The Tykes have bounced back from three straight defeats with back-to-back league wins and have climbed up to ninth place in the table, three points off a play-off spot.Moore said: "We have had a decent week really and long may that continue. I think it has been a good response to a sticky patch and we have put in some good, solid performances, so the results have followed."It's all about continuing to do the right things and playing the percentages. If you can do that then you will get the right result more often than not. We've done that in the last few matches."Consistency in this league all comes down to the individual. You have to analyse your own game and what you have to achieve."If you can do that then you will help yourself, your team and your club. The players have performed and set themselves their own personal standards now. It's pointless to drop from those and you have to try to achieve that in every game or even better them."
