Robins was placed on gardening leave by the Millers last week while he held talks with the Championship side with a view to succeeding Simon Davey. And Rotherham have now allowed Robins' assistant John Breckin, first-team coach Steve Taylor and goalkeeping coach Nick Daws to hold talks with their Yorkshire neighbours. The trio have also been placed on gardening leave by the League Two leaders, who have put head of youth Steve Thornber in charge of the first team with veteran striker Paul Warne and chief scout Alan Crawford assisting him. "The board of directors will continue to work towards having these issues resolved and concluded at the earliest possible opportunity," said a Millers statement.
