Ipswich game goes ahead after morning inspection.

Barnsley’s game at Ipswich Town WILL go ahead after the Portman Road pitch survived a 9am inspection.

There had been some doubt over whether the game could go ahead due to the recent heavy snowfall but referee Nigel Miller deemed it was safe and playable.

So far all 18 Premier League and Championship games have been given the go ahead but six League One and eight League Two matches are off.
