Luke Steele-d for jersey battle

Steele spent the majority of last season as understudy to Heinz Muller but has the chance to become first-choice keeper following the German's departure this summer. "I did question my future here last season because I was not getting any football but circumstances changed and I felt I wanted to sign again," he told the Tykes' official website. "It's nice to have the chance to play again but I know I have a lot of hard work to get through to make sure I stay in the team."
