Kozluk reveals Eagles snub

Defender Rob Kozluk has confirmed that he rejected the chance to join Crystal Palace to sign a new one-year contract at Barnsley.

The 31-year-old was offered a three-year deal by the Eagles, but opted to stay at Oakwell.

He told the Sheffield Star: "There was interest from elsewhere and Neil Warnock offered me a three-year contract with Crystal Palace, but I did not want to leave Barnsley.

"All the speculation will be put to bed because I want to be here.

"I could have jumped ship, but my family is settled here and I am enjoying my football, I love it here."
