Full-back Tom Kennedy has signed a two year contract with Barnsley, keeping him at Oakwell until the summer of 2015.
The 27 year old was a key figure in the side once David Flitcroft replaced Keith Hill as manager and he was one of seven players the club confirmed they would be offering new deals to.
The former Rochdale and Leicester defender joins striker Jason Scotland in committing his short term future to the club and he tweeted:
